(hope i put this in the right section)OK well since ive had my xj for awhile ive just now decided to make a build thread for it. now i dont have a ton of pics to start but later on ill have tons of pics. Its an 89 powered by the mighty 4.0 renix. dana 30 front and dana 35 rear auto matic with a 231. Its a burgundy color that looks really purple so all my friends called it barney.

Like ive said i dont have many pics of anything lol.
other a few months I did a few minor upgrades
valve cover gasket
new tps
tune up kit
re did the brakes and rotors
replaced all the lights
and other little things

First wheeling trip ever

 

First REAL mud it ever saw

 

Shortly after this I put in new head unit and speakers and some other usless **** which i ripped out later

 

once i got my xj i began saving for a re 5.5'' lift. But last christmas my parents surprised me with a 3in rc lift. I cant say i was super excited but I didnt want to be an ******* and say no i dont want it. so I ended up putting it on, only have like 2 during lift pics.

 

During the lift:
It took about three nights to do. Granted i was going to school during the day, and work at night. So for three nights i worked on it from 8:30pm to 5:00am. i ran into problems like the front leaf spring bolts being a piece of crap, and other dumb stuff.

oh and as you can see i had angry eyes for awhile, i took them off because crap was breaking to fast.

 

a few days after i lifted it I went for a stroll through the woods on a gravel path, mostly just crusing, when my alternator bearing decided to blow up, and jam the fan and rip the belt off. so my buddys little 91s10 dragged me home.
