Barcoite's 1993 Cherokee Sport Build.
Hey guys! So the story here is that my stepsister just got a New car. So that leaves me with this.
Its a 93 cherokee sport. Has 118xxx miles. The uni-body on it is rusting away real bad. When I get it, she had blown off the upper portion of the vacuum bypass and shredded the end of the hose. I needed antifreeze and a couple other minor things. So we went to our local CAP not thinking they would have it. Sure enough 45 bucks later we had a new vacuum bypass and 8 feet of radiator hosing. (Extras in case). Then we found another problem. The gas tank had a self healing leak. We thought it was a self healing seal. Were gonna replace it soon.Anyway, my dad knows a guy who does body work. Hes gonna fix the uni-body completely and paint it matte black. What I wanna know is a good lift kit/tires and rim combo. Also any bumpers, winches, light bars, and any other cheap and easy mods for myself. Also any body armor for off road use. This will be for a daily driver and a weekend offroader. Any other tips and tricks are welcome.

Hey guys new update!
Ordered some tools from harbor freight (yes I'm aware there not the best) for cheap. Since I'm on a tight budget, it's the best I could do for now. I got
•1/2 in impact wrench
•3/4 in air ratchet
•200 ft lb Torque wrench
•4 15 foot tie down straps
All for around 70 bucks with shipping.
I have also done a lot to the jeep. I've removed the fender flares and redone the bumper. The bumper has a huge dent in it, but it is just temporary until I save enough money for a winch bumper.
I used a 4 1/2 in angle grinder with a cut off wheel and a 40 grit sand wheel. I stripped the whole bumper, cut the edges for the mean look, and then sprayed the whole thing with rustoleum Bedliner.
The newest update is a switch panel build I'm
Currently making.
I picked up a 2 in by 6 foot piece of steel from tractor supply. I then cut 2 8 in pieces from
The length of it. Then started using the 40 grit sand wheel to clean off the rust and old oxidation. Then became the fun part. Welding!
Not the cleanest welds I've ever done. But not bad for a 14 year old who went out and bought a welder. I've only probably had about 6 hours on the thing but I've loved every second of it.
I then reground down the welds and the right angle piece to make the rustoleum stick better.
This rustoleum stuff works great. Only fault is the can. Doesn't like to spray thick. Just gotta turn it upside down.
Anyways. Your up to date now. Soon I will be replacing the gas tank and fan clutch plate. And trimming the front and rear fender.
