I have a 96 Jeep Cherokee I wanna customize. It has a 4.0 in it and I've been told that engine is one I want. It will mainly be used for mudding. I wanna get a lift and some new tires. I have a friend with a welder and pipe bender that said he could make me an exterior roll cage for a couple hundred bucks. I thought that would look pretty bada$$. I don't want to put more than a thousand or so in it right away but can see putting more in it for the future. I am new to this and all help is appreciated.
