I've been slacking on this build thread lately so ill do a little update. I still need to find another 97+ front end being that mine was smashed into. Also looking to get an aftermarket front bumper (not sure what route to go with that yet) I have HD off road no lift shackle relocation boxes that I need to install. My headliner was sagging so bad that it was sitting on my head while I was driving so I ripped it out. Also ripped out the cargo area carpet (it was soaked and smelled bad) going to be taking the rest of the carpets out and coating the whole floor and ceiling with bedliner. Here's a few pics of how she sits now for anybody that's interested

I saw that. Not a bad price. Idk how I feel about stubby bumpers on an xj though. I like full width bumpers on xj's. Im thinking about getting a jcr bumper

I had basic one on my old xj. It saved my life when I hit a tree at 50mph. Bumper took the whole impact. New radiator and a gear cover later the jeep was running again.

Yea when it gets warmer ill pop it off and coat it with bedliner. Its has a decent coat of black paint on it now but its covered in road salt

just went through your whole build man. first off great build. i am usually not to much of a fan of the pre 97 but i love yours it has made me think about finding one and building it now. keep up the work man
