Federal law requires you to have a Cat. Posting here with illegal acts is against the rules. Might want to edit that part out of your post.

lol what? I have never been told its illegal to not have a cat. there isn't a cat on 4 of the five vehicles I own. Must be where you live I'm sure. Where I'm from we don't have emissions or exhaust regulations other than a decibel level.

We are both from the US right? Federal Law. Just because a state chooses not to enforce the law does not make it legal.

yea yea I did some of my own research after you said that. Its whatever. Its not really an enforced law unless you live in large cities or like cali. Pretty sure I will never ever have to worry about it. vehicles older than 25years it doesnt matter anyways.

The only thing I have ever been told is mechanics cannot remove them legally but you can do what ever you want.

I agree, that most places you wouldn't get in trouble with the law. Thats just breaking the law and getting away with it. However as far as the site rules as I have read them. You are not allowed to promote cat-less. I was just looking out for OP.
