this is what happened to the old jeep

 

this is where im at now^^^ next step is to add stiffeners and mock up a ford dana 44 with a 3 or 4 link setup... if i go 4-link im gonna triangulate the uppers... not sure what rear ill be using but that isnt the hard part

 

so i got my front shocks on, grant steering wheel, cb mounted and lightly painted
also took 'The Stocker' for a little fun
will post pics soon

 

and if youre thinkin that my front axle seems too far back, youre right. damm short arm lifts BLOW! also my track bar has a hiem-style joint on the stock frame bracket and is maxed out sitting on the street. so im taking my old custom frame bracket and rustys trackbar and installing it in hopes that i can drive it around, at least down the street

 

so i pulled my drums off yesterday and found one of the retaining springs had come off of the pin that holds it in place, thus my shoe was tryin to stick out at a 45 degree angle, replaced and smooth as butta

also got a steering box brace and rustys track bar off my other xj

 

adjusted my front doors so they actually seal since it hasnt stopped raining here in nevada for 4 weeks or so....
