Another budget build XJ
So I bought my first xj in late june and I already love it. It might be a little pre-mature for a build thread but just wanted to start it.
the day I bought her. stock wheels with 235/70 15 goodyear wranglers
factory fender flares and rear bumper caps removed
3" rough country w/aal and lca's
not quite a poser
15x8 American Racing D-window's 4" bs w/ 31-10.5-15

roof rack, overhead console
decided to build a lil flat-rack for the jeep
also started on my overhead console. grabbed a factory console from the jy out of an 89 and gutted it and stripped the fabric and glue stuff off it. cut out some sheet metal to fill the gap and epoxyed it in. a lil clean-up with a sandpaper disc and a new dome light (trailor side marker) to top it off.

been a while since i've updated this. Since my last post i've added a 2" BB (spacer and shackle) cause the springs were settling a little more then I wanted. also added a rugged ridge double shear adj. trackbar and an IRO hack n tap SYE with a xj front driveshaft for the rearend. cut the hell outa the fenders and cut and folded the rear wheel wells. Got a set of 33-12.5's and a homebuilt tube rear tire carrier bumper waiting to go on soon.
more pics coming soon
