I think you'll be good. Might as well do the oil pan gasket and all that.

So now for the rest of the planned build. And other stuff may come up at any time but I'll try to revise the list as things get done.
-Engine re-build (Obviously covered in my last post)
-Rust repair, I need to basically replace my floorboards all the way through
anybody with a welder and are decent with sheet metal near
Charleston, SC and wouldn't mind helping me out let me know please
-Long Arms, my ride quality sucks and I wouldn't mind the added flex
-Snorkel, so I don't hydrolock it again.....
-Axle build up
-4.56's or 4.88's haven't decided yet
-Front and rear lockers
-Chromo shafts for the front, probably leave the rear for now. I have a
29 spline 8.25 to swap in
-HD diff covers
-Shackle relocation brackets and the extended shackles I've had sitting there for over a year now
-A set of 35's
-Most likely going to need an SYE and driveshaft, we will see though
-Unibody stiffeners, again welders in the area...
-Sliders, again welders I'd like to do rocker cut outs since my passenger side rocker is kinda messed up already
-Re-do my taillights. I don't like how they turned out
-ZJ seats or some other more comfortable seat
-99+ intake manifold
-Header and down pipe
-Replace my heater switch so I can actually use my heat
-Mount a fire extinguisher for those oh **** moments
-Turn my AC compressor into OBA, could use some help on that one. Still looking that up
-HID's (the stock headlights suck)
-Replace my dash bulbs with LED's
-Front and rear bumpers, both made out of tube
-Wire my E-Fan to a switch in the cab
-Replace my speakers and mount some new ones so I can actually hear my music when I have the doors off
-Some tube fenders
-Eventually build an EXO off the bumpers and fenders, but that's not for a while yet
-Steering box (probably go Durango)
-Gas tank skid

Yeah I plan on that. And I'm going to replace the oil pump while I'm in there as well just for peace of mind.

Haha yeah they get a bad rap because they don't make tons of power or whatever but for my usage, it will be just fine. It'll pull whatever I need it to and do so with decent mileage for what it is. My buddy has the truck version with a 6" lift and 35's and I've personally seen that thing go anywhere he points it.
