diff cover is not optional IMO - the stock 8.8 one is paper thin.
yoke conversion is optional also - I grabbed a flange from a early 90s Ford Ranger for the 8.8 - they use the same 1310 ujoint as a cherokee driveshaft. You can grab one from an explorer also but you'll need to run a 1310 to 1330 conversion ujoint. If you want to order one the flange is Spicer Part # 2-2-1379

Optional was a poor word choice on my part. I should have used "additional"
Appreciate the input. Only been a couple days and trying to find a middle ground between a build that is ***** out vs bare bones is tougher than I thought. So the necessary column was just listing what is needed to get it under the Heep. Of course as I continue to dig I'm sure vendors and direction will change a few times.

Staying with yukon was an easy choice, vendor ct67_72 did me a solid on pricing so the only decision to make was how far to take the 8.8 build.

Well last of the parts have been ordered for the 8.8 build. Should be in late next week, so I guess we are looking at a late June install date. Pretty stoked.
