Well me and the wife officialy split up. Oh sorry to hear that, well I'm not and neither is the jeep. So I'm buying a welder and turning the garage into the jeeps room. I will start a build thread in the appropriate place when I get to a computer. But for now give me ideas on anything from interior to lugnuts id love to hear some fresh ideas. I'm planning on 6.5 with 35's but it might go bigger if I find another xj dd. So to everybody on cf let's build a jeep.

if youve ever got a lot of time and a little money
I say ripping out the carpet, doing rust removal, and rhino line or even rattle can looks great
Im gonna do that to my next xj and use diamond plating to go under my feet and passenger and back seat and cargo area
then if youve got real spare time. pull all the plastic interior and black it out as well
gonna look sweet

No it was on it when I got it. its not home made. Po said he spent like 600 on it. I like it but I would have spent the money somewhere else.

First priority. I don't have a lot of rust but its there and I want to stop it. I plan on rhino lining the interior and selling what interior I can live without.

mine too. mostly because it's really easy to do on your own
and its something to work on while you're saving up for some real upgrades
I cant wait for my next xj I'll be following your build to see how that interior turns out

Didn't realize it had been so long. Since I last posted here I haven't got to do a whole lot to it, but I've done a few things. With winter coming on I won't be as busy so hopefully this will get updated a little more.

If you have the $ i say slap a clayton long arm on there, get chromo shafts, gears, 35s, and then triangulate the rear and go coil overs! haha

I built a tire carrier for the roof out of some unistrut and a 22mm bolt. I used the factory plastic peice from the spare and drilled it out to fit snug over the bolt. Im happy with it for now but I will be building a rear bumper with the swing out carrier. Same with the front ill be building a bumper but chopped the factory for now and mounted a donor high lift from my buddies tj. Arb diff cover, figured it would remind me to save for a locker lol. Not a whole lot for now, but like I said summer is a busy time for me.

I bought a house after the split so I need to get my cash built back up. I thought about going with a 4 link but I've heard a few guys say they don't like the on road manners. I do daily drive it still. I have another vehicle but if I couldn't drive my jeep daily idk what I would do lol.
