Ha Im totally swapping out my current set up with a 6.5" Rough country with the long arm upgrade and the nitro shocks...not the super best but certainly a huge step up from my current setup. Also theres a pic of my new driveshaft and SYE from IRO...

...Regearing next week hello 4.56's

Got the rear done (except for the shocks) also got the new crossmember on, and springs/longarms on. tomarriw I will finish putting the front together (trackbar, shocks, sway..ect) Get the rear shocks on, and torque everything down. Also Still have to install my SYE then bleed the brakes....Tring to get it done tomarrow...all I can say is this thing is sitting HIGH.

Current interior setup

Lonnnnnnnnnng Arms

Took it out for some "light" wheeling and found some large rocks with a spotter i made it thru but not before working my gas tank skid......the whole rear end was sitting on it im impressed with the factory skid. and for 6 dollars and the junkyard ya cant beat it.

Thats ruggid ridge "crossover" steering I do not recomend it, its beefy but downright dangerous on the road due to the giant dead spot. When I take it to get regeared at JCR im going to have them install there OTK steering. Also I have to wait until I get out of basic training and AIT to get it regeared JCR is booked.....That white stuff is some weird *** mud.

I fixed the dead spot in my motion offroad (same type as rugged ridge) steering by adding a poly bushing ( left over shock bushing) to the drag link joint. It fixed the problem and has lasted more than a year so far. The OTK kit from JCR is pretty cool too though. Do you like the long arm kit form RC?

So you talking a ploy busing off a shock like the ones that go over the bottom mount on the rear end? or a poly TRE bushing?

Love the longarms its much more stable now and the install was not overly complicated.

I figured it was too long I called IRO and they dont know why its like that they told me to cut off my yoke and leave about an inch and trim my output shaft again...I really dont want to do that again Im going to do some reasearch and see what i can find.

Anyone know if any any XJ's came with shorter front driveshafts?
