I can't believe you guys are still arguing about this. It's pointless, yes he was wrong about some things, and yes he wouldn't take advice from you guys, so be it. If he's wrong about something he'll figure it out and fix it just like you guys did. But that doesn't give you guys the right to treat him like that, this is why I hate forums. I thought this one was different but I guess I was wrong. If there is one thing I can't stand its when people like you guys try to make people him feel like they're retarded. I have been working on cars since I was like 5, but if I had ever been treated like you guys are treating him I probably would have given up. Yes, obviously try to help people and give them constructive criticism, but if they wont take it, that doesn't mean you treat them like crap...

they tried to help him and he snapped for no reason. he just needs to learn the rule of give respect get respect. yes they did take it to far but they are just trying to help him not make the same mistakes as them and they just want him to have a nice riding rig

 

Exactly, I didnt bbegn being an a**hole until he started. We were looking out for him. I understand Im his age, with my first car (turbo jetta) I jumped on a forum I though I new everything thing, but when other members shot down my ideas, I got a lil upset but I sure as hell no how to respect people, especially those who are trying to help me out. Now that I think about it im glad I listened to them, I may have had a ricey *** jetta but nope, it was clean and euro. Amd no doubt I hate when forums turn into **** like this, I left one because thats how everyone was. But like said above, you give respect you get respect. You start cussing at me and telling me crap, you damn well better be prepared to get it back twice as bad

I agree he was being rude, and I agree you should have tried to help him, and make him realize he doesn't know everything, but you guys took it way to far for no reason, he started a new thread and you guys took it over there. It's ridiculous , how old are you guys? you're all acting like children, the hole "HE started it!" argument shouldn't be use over the age of like 8... seriously guys lets all grow up.

 

Only one guy took it over there and his comment seemed to be over looked
