Still haven't got my jeep back from the shop.

Im just remembering some issues.

My speakers in the rear headliner dont work. I really wanna know if anyone on the forum is having the same issue. They seem to have gone out together which leads me to believe its a wiring issue. I remember hearing the left rear short a little when I turned it up but I didnt turn it up that loud after I heard it. I now put the equalizer to the front 2 speakers because there is no use of putting power to the rear. If you guys can help me search the forum it would help out alot.
Thanks.

Btw everything is stock. Stock Deck, Stock Speakers, Stock Wiring.

I have the regular speakers. I also noticed that the light in that area doesnt turn on when the tailgate opens or if you push it in.

I got my jeep back finally. I still has the deathwobble with the track bar and the steering stabilizer installed by the garage. They gave it an alignment and finally said it was good to go. Its still there though. It happens at around 55 mph, so its common in the xj community. I have also had the pleasure to find that my steering pops. When I turn it slightly to the left it pops in the left front.

The steering wheel itself is turned to the left maybe 25-30 degrees to keep me going in a straight path. Whats that all about ????

This DD might be the end of me.

So I found out that the pop in the front end is actually the control arms. when they put the lift on they put shims in the control arm brackets to keep them from slidding back and forth. So thats just something I have to get use to.

I wanted to know from you guys, does your rear passenger brake line hang really really low? Mine is below my lower shock mounts. Its also held to the axle with a ziptie. Should I do something about this because it likes to grab a hold of rocks and tree limbs?

Does anyone know if anyone is selling a wheel like this? Im looking for one to make it a 5 set.

99' Classic DD-dscn2584.jpg

The brake line is the lowest part of my jeep and it likes to grab branches. How can I fix this?
99' Classic DD-dscn2587.jpg

The popping sound is coming from this shim in my lower control arm bracket.

I need a new front pinion seal!
99' Classic DD-dscn2591.jpg

Does this have anything to do with my A/C because its leaking and it runs off the body onto my control arms and it makes a green puddle on the concrete in my driveway?

This is a 8.25 ? Right?
99' Classic DD-dscn2595.jpg

I hear this is pretty common. It doesnt bother me any but maybe down the road I will sand and repaint them.

The A/C was going bad. I took it in to the shop and found out it needed every part under the hood basically . So much money for something most jeeps dont even have. My parents paid for it but thats like $1000 that could go toward bumpers, sliders, rack, etc. Since my sister is going to be a freshman next year I need A/C because her hair cant get messy :brinkwall: . I got my xj back and now its nice and Ice Cold.

But here is some pics of her all cleaned up.

So the other day, I went to the JY and the tire store. I dont like how they think that just because Im 16 they think they can bully prices. The JY wasnt a pick n pull so it was pointless anyways. Man gotta love not having a JY within 40 miles from you.
