ok reaching out to my fellow jeep enthusiest. i have the RC 4.5X and im looking to either add coil spacers and shackles or front springs and shackles to get it close to 6.5. My question is which would be better for the front the 6.5 springs or coil spacers and why? Also when going to 6.5 is there anything else i will need to change?

Well i didnt get the lift on yet still waiting for the tool guy to bring me my coil spring compressors, but i did build myself a winch plate and got the winch mounted on it. It mounts into my 2 inch reciever in my front bumper.

Wow its been awhile since i posted on this. Well i took it to the mounds off road park. got buried in water til it came in the rear drivers door.

Now i got my tax money and i i ordered my spartan locker and powertrax no slip locker since that was the only lunchbox locker i could find in stock for a 8.25 29 spline. i ordered front and rear solid diff covers. I will be installing the 2 inch lift that i ordered monthes ago. i will be swapping the 242 transfer case out for an 231 seeing how i hate the 242 thats in mine now. i will also be installing a new heater core and evaporater seeing how the heater core keeps plugging up. Lots to do here very soon

Well things havent been going as good as i had hoped. got the rear lift shackles in and tore the rear end down to install the locker and come to find out i bought a locker for a trak lock carrier
so im trying to contact the company i bought it from and see if they will let me exchange it for an open diff style. So i got the front diff out and replaced the axle seals, and found that one of the carrier side bears was junk. I also had a hell of a time trying to knock that roll pin out of the carrier for the diff pin. But i got it all done and i just need to bolt the ring back on and install it
. here it is with the spartan and new side bearings.
