Picked up a decent 99 xj limited and went to work on it. Bodys not perfect on it but at least its solid. Not a big fan of the leather seats though. So far i have swaped in some speakers and fixed the broken wires in the door harnesses so all the speakers work now. Pulled the tail lights and front side markers and night shaded them. Put the roof mounted spare on it. This weekend got the stock bumper pulled off and installed a JCR one on it.

Got some new headlights in last night. Silver star bulbs work so much better than stock.

if you were only closer to CT i'd swap my cloth seats for your leather seats...

i got them from ebay, they were like $30 shipped to my door.

Been busy working on my house (bathroom remodel) but finally got some time to start the tear down of the 96 so i can put the lift on the 99. Heres how its sitting now

Broke 1 one the steering gearbox bolts off when removing them to install the jcr front bumper tie-ins and also the steering gear box aluminum bracket is broken also. Does anybody know of a place that makes those aluminum brackets for the gear box for cheap since the dealer want $150!? Can i just use washers to space it out?

Well got the lower and upper control arms swapped and got the coil springs in last night. dont know if i will get to work on it today since i just picked up the new call of duty today. Might have to wait a day to get back to the jeep lol
