Here's some pics of my first JEEP payed $1200 for it. The only rust is in rockers,the floors are clean and solid. These pics are after the addition of the new 2 me rims and tires(had them nasty stock steel wheels)picked the set up for $300 with a set of coil over shocks to get the tail from sagging and swaying(shocks were bad).
Future plans include lift of unknown height, 33" tires(have 3 sets laying around) or 35" one set but pretty bald). WAGGY 44's just picked up from JY last week end with lift componets also from the JY (also payed $300 for axles,spings and LCAs). fabbed bumpers.....
I'm a welder/fabricater by trade so I'll be building alot of my own parts, maybe even a long arm set-up??

Started fabbing my front bumper today,sorry no pics.
Making it out of .25(1/4") plate steel for frame/winch mount the ends are going to be either .187 (3/16") or ten ga.(1/8"). It's going to tie in beyond the PS bolts.Of coarse it's going to have clevis tabs for D-rings tied in and welded 100% front and back.
Not sure on a small stinger or just a pre runner style bar tho guess i'll have to see which I like better
will post pics when I get it home.

 

Been real busy @ work haven't been able to work on bumper much.Did get my tie in brackets,clevis tabs made and the middle formed, will take some pics tomarrow @ work of what I've done so far,if I can remember my camera.

 

my old 35's, may need to do a little trimmin.!!? May just stick with 33's still unsure.
They came from a Crandon off road world championship race truck (Crandon, Wi.). Back when you could buy, one race tires for $15 each!! Those days are gone, not sure if you can even buy them anymore??

 

what kind of lift do you plan to do to fit those massive tires

 

I want to stay as low as possible,maybe a 6" at the most w/bushwacker cut outs.prolly not going to run these tires they're 35x15.50x15's.If I run 35's I'll stay with 12.5" wide.
