This is my first cherokee build owned a 89yj for years so hear it gose. I bought it with some type of a mix bread of parts. The good was i had 4.5 rustys springs and a crossmember setup for long arms but had short arms? My guess someone started and didnt finish. My plans are too go with long arms from IRO. Heres what i have so far for the front
1) IRO long arms
2)upper control arm bushing IRO
3)coil spring Isolators
4)Spring retainer
5)Bar pin elim
6)Stup too loop adapter
7)Ext break lines
8)Rustys RX300 remote reserivor shocks 12inch travel
I plan on runing 33s has massive 35 14.50 ground hawgs now just not a jeep tire IMO. Also have a 2inch coil spacer neting me about 6inchs of lift. If some one has something to add i would like to hear good or bad my first real control arm suspension build but im giving it a shot!

Got the front striped and rdy for the longarm few set backs the PO had the crossmember allready on the jeep? With short arms must have been setting up for a long arm down the road IRO said it would work a few measurments later we come too find out that its a rustys crossmember Every bolt was broke!
So since floor boards are in order this was a easy fix PO had the crossmember welded on in 2inchs in front of factory holes?

What i did to fix the broken crossmember bolts was cut the old welded nuts out since i had access to the inside of the unibody only good thing about having rotten floor boards! Then i drilledthe hole to 3/8 and droped some flat washers and Grade 8 bolts welded fast coated everthing with chassie save great stuff expessive but stops rust!
