im not really sure ill be runnin on 29's untill i can find some spare cash to get wheels and tires. but because its a stick i believe ( im not sure how to tell.. but just from the info i gathered from this forum) the back gears are 3.07s so with out regearing 31's might be my best option. when i get more cash to regear to 4.10s then ill throw 33's and do some fender trimming but that might be along time from now. moneys kind of tight.

finaly finished my lift, after 10 days and alot of cutting, drilling and hittin S*** with a BFH. i think i might hold the record for the most time spent on a lift its still sittin on 235s, hopefuly i can rumage up some cash for wheels and a set of 32s. not tryin to go huge and do mass fender trimming.
test drove it. stearing is way out of wack. needs a huge allignment. the inner spin has mass wheel turn and as i gradualy turn the wheel the whole way it gets less and less turn on the tires. and then from a 1/4 turn to the end it regains mass spin again. im not really sure if thats how its supposed to stear but its going for an allignment soon hopefuly.
heres how it sits now:

finaly got out on a nice day to do a small bit of wheelin.. first time out, it was really fun altho i didnt know if i was going to be able to make it back out of the trails. seeing some of the pics on here with jeeps wedged in rediclous amounts of earth, it gave me a bit more confidence to move on.
it was alot of fun!
i only on 235s atm, tryin to save some cash to get 31s
had a pic of me on that rock but it wouldnt upload

its been a while since i updated this thing
to do:
shim rear axle
fix DW with adj tracbar (on order)
32's ( might get some for free but they are 5x5 bolt. may need 4.5x5to5x5 spacer)
sye/cv and get rid of my t-case drop
maybe airbrushing decals
undercoating
sub box
rear hatch speaker mod
roof rack
running lights
lower foglights
138amp alternator to run it all (:
thats it for now but it will grow soon enough

i dont mean to double post but my old tech school teacher knows how to air brush and he might call me in for a demo cuz i told him he could use my jeep as a demo to the class. that being said i can pick mostly any design or anything i wanted, and ideas? i also need a name for my xj that i can throw in there. suggestions?

My 94 is also a stick shift. May be one day I will get it lifted but I will have the same problem as you with the 3.07s. Looks awesome although I bet it will look better with 32s. Looks a little strange with that big lift and tiny tires but nice jeep none the less.

it is rather strange to have a big lift and smaller tires. hopefuly that will change soon. i want to try and regear but i dont have the money atm.. i was origionaly going to go with 31's which would look atleast better then my 29's but i dont know if 32's and 3.07s would kill most of my power.
