Yeah, I mean, unless you can find some really decent really cheap ones in the JY (WJ rears are the ones recommended, btw), I wouldn't even bother. Especially not if the rubbing is minimal and it's not bothering you.

Yeah it didn't really bother me in the ZJ and it's less rubbing than that. I'd have left them on if I wasn't so worried about tearing off a rear flare and screwing up the sheet metal.

Ordered custom front and standard rear bumper from Nate's 4x4. He's very pleasant to email! Also replaced the ignition switch. Hopefully it will start reliably, so far so good the half dozen times I tried it putting in the tranny cooler. Also finished up the tranny cooler install and put it up on ramps in preparation to drain the pan, check the filter and magnets and replace the leaky rtv tomorrow.

He never got back to me and his current price is still more than $1k over KBB...
Might have found a clean '96 5.2 now though...lol Same color and everything as mine and comes with an NP242 to swap in.

Nate's4x4 they have different combo kits and are willing to do anything custom. If it's not too simple it'll be pricey but he's doing a full brush guard like the Warn bumper for me for the front

Nate's is nice and simple. Everyone seems to have the exact same "stinger" setup though and I wanted something with a bit more coverage. He charged like $100 for a complete one off guard added to his base bumper and was super quick to respond to emails and questions.

Working NSS...check
Properly running jeep...not check.
CPS ohms out proper, new Map, new TPS, planning on doing cap, rotor and wires but still have a map circuit low code...hopefully it's not a bad PCM...IDK what else it can be. Maybe I'll have time to trace out the wire when I get back. Seems to run fine the first trip or 2 back and then once warmed up runs like crap at anything less than 40%+ throttle.

Started the install of XJwonders cables on the ZJ...first bolt broke the welded nut on the inside of the fender...

Proceeded to disassemble the entire front right corner...

Who designed these things!?!?! The nut is inside the 3rd hole back...this thing is crazy to disassemble. Could have moved a bolt down 2 inches and made it much simpler. Instead I have to remove the door to get to it...SMH
