just got the gears and lockers done, what a difference, accelerates much quicker and has tons or torque, I can crawl hills in 2wd I used to have to use 4x4

 

Went out on some trails to test the lockers


hooked up the cobra 29 lx I got for xmas and a PA speaker

 

Looks like there's enough room for bigger tires...

 

got a 39t speedo gear


got a front d/s from a 1995, painted and rebuilt it for my sye



changed the gear oil after the break in period


installed the sye last weekend:

Love em..just what I needed, I haven't had them off road yet, but I'm sure ill be happy...I think I may head up to big bear this weekend to go play in the snow...so I'll see then...happy with the bfgs?

 

bfgs are great! love them with the 4.56

33s are alot of fun with 4.56s...the jeep pulls pretty hard, huh? Mind hauled *** when I had my rear end done, howling and all lol

 

update time: added 4* shims to the leaf packs, also changed the oil and broke the oil pressure sensor in the process. ooops



found a home brew roof rack on craigslist, got it for a deal. 4 light tabs on front, 2 on the rear, cb mount, tire mount, shovel and axe on one side, hi-lift on the other.

went out with a group after a big rain and got real muddy

the crack in my header got really bad, replaced it with a banks torque tube and did brown dog motor mounts while i was in there
