Well i've had this jeep for a number of years and have used it well. This isn't my first build thread so if you want to see the early years of this Jeep check out this page https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/95-jeep-build-61253/ .

Here's a quick summery of how I've gotten to this point.


Here's the Jeep when I first spotted it, no idea what I was getting into.


After some paint roof rack baskets and lights I finally got my first lift


I was happy where it sat.....but i was hooked now






After building bumpers and a roof rack I manager to drive this thing all the way out to Whistler BC

After coming home still on the same lift i got new 32x11.5 ats to fit under my bushwacker flat flairs

 

At the point where my transmission started to act up and my moter mount snapped I decided I was ready to start my rebuild.


I ripped out the interior to repair my floor as I waited for my engine and tranny to be rebuilt

So this is what I had, a typical 4.0 that had seen 220.000 km


soooo I pulled it out and the money pit began

 

After a few weeks of cleaning everything and waiting on the engine and tranny I was ready for things to go back

jba headers, browndog motor mounts and a decent looking engine bay

 

My engine bay stayed the same for a while, until i got this finished



hesco adjustable regulator
bosch 703 injectors
99+ intake
k&n intake
jeepers creepers 62mm throttle body

with that i had to pit on a new power steering pump and belt
ive also swapped in a high flow water pump and thermostat housing and removed the ac and charcoal canister

 

now for the axles that im sure you spotted in other pictures...both axles started looking like this one




dana 30 up front and an 8.25 for the rear

 

Both axles were sand blasted then i used POR15 with a top coat of tremclad brushed on

dana30 has hd ball joints outer axel tube seals g2 diff cover and all new premium bearing and brakes

chrystler 8.25 g2 diff cover powertrax locker jeep liberty disc conversion with all premium parts and teraflex ebrake cables

 

Spending all that on axles I couldn't just bolt them to my worn suspention




now you probably want to see how it looks.....not just yet because I have a front clip swap to show you and the old ride hieght

 

the header and fenders I plan to paint again in the summer in white

now for what I sagged to with my 3"rc lift

sitting at just over 4" of lift im guessing that my rc lift was sagging to almost factory.
