long time no update. Had a lot of trouble at home (house burned down). lost basically every picture i had of this build. As it sits now
33 swampers
Found some Detroit lockers at an estate sail for 50 bucks each
same estate sail got some chromally G2 axles too
new clutch
Bilstein 5100 shocks (Best of the best in my opinion)
My work had overstock in the distrabution center for Rough Country 4 inch lifts, so i got one for a steal. I decided to put my own lift on it. I hated owning a bought rig
I still want to swap in a dana 44 front and a dana 60 in the rear full sized. I work at a north west tire, alignment shop called Les Schwab so i can do all of the cutting, welding, and alignment there. Although my upgraded axles are pretty strong i do not want to take the risk of breaking them out on the trail. I am also thinking of adding a 2 inch budget boost to my 4 inch kit just for a little extra clearance for the 33's. I already have long arms so its kind of a money thing at this point. Eventually down the road once the 4.0 goes out, i will be doing a 302 swap but thats way down the road. I need to figure out a fesable way to keep my intake in the hood without it getting filled with water. I out wheeling last weekend and my filter got pretty wet, dont want a snorkle however. Pictures of the rig and how it sits today will be up tomorrow once light comes back up.
