Removed the 95 master cyl, and booster to do the brake upgrade

Installed in the 93

Random front shot

some suspension pics, because I pulled the fenders

one of the YJ longer brake hoses

Now onto the fun part, pulled the rear trim to see how bad the rust was hidden
Drivers side

not bad
Passenger side - FML

only one thing left to do

now lets tackle that arch
first cut

not good enough
second cut

Nice

removed the rear bumper

**** I cut out

I need to do the drivers side, the inner fender will need to be manipulated in the back corner, and then added too and fully re welded. Oh well CLEARENCE IS NICE.

started today on the drivers side arch

Then Pulled the front seats and decided to figure out a plan for the rear floor

Dropped the tank

The cover for the tank is a moisture/ garbage trap, probabaly causing alot of xj tank rust on other peoples rigs

Taped the openings, including the one vent that was missing WTF?

More to come

This is how I started the day, stupid *** torx

had to drive like 20 minutes to get to sears and exchange it, so I bought 2 spare ones ontop of that.
Started the doorless hinge mod, might as well as I'm switching doors anyways.

passy doors off

Pulled the carpet out, to reveal the lack of floor

Doorless on the drivers side

started to trim the rockers to get rid of rust and tuck in some beefy rock sliders

cutting on the drivers side floor

vacumed the **** out of the u channel

Ran out of cutting discs and daylight on the driverside floor, so all tucked away for the night

the more and more I cut out, the less and less I want to finish the project.

Some gease flew over head like 3 different packs 3 different times

Just dont have the time ti finish this to be my winter rat. I really dont know if I should continue with the project, as I want a wrangler anyways.

you should continue but with a diferent project maybe a tubular or something like that. the axles and shafts are holding the unibody, if you chop that it would fold as a taco. good luck

I'm not very patient, tho I've learned alot of patience dealing with my eye condition.
I'm very mad about the rust, I mean, I knew it was rusty, but I atleast expected 3 spots of the floor 8''x8'' to be intact somewhere, haha.

Oh well tho, I have too much invested into this project to quit.

plan was to be my winter vehicle and move to toy/ back up vehicle during the summer, since I dont think it will be done for winter, I'm unsure if it will ever be put on the road. even tho it is legally inspected insured and registered right now.
