Thanks for all compliments guys. The front bumper is almost done and I am building the roof rack now too. My next task will be rear light box and try to fab the metal bushwackers. I got a good deal 10k lbs winch from HF and could not refuse since the buget is tight now too so will see how it performs. Also the CB antenna will be intergrated to the rear light box. This is my first Jeep and also my first fab works so of course I am still learning. Again will have more pictures soon. Stay tuned.

Are you kidding me right now??!! If this is your first time fabbing stuff you should be able to take $50 worth of crap from walmart and build a working space shuttle!!

By the way, I'm stealing all of your ideas for my build. But I'll give you props for them all.

Actually this is my second time doing fab works. My first time I worked on modifying the tow dolly to carry 2 quads or 1 quad and 1 street bike or a car.

Im stealing all your ideas and calling them all mine!! lol! I love this build, mainly because your XJ is the same color as mine. Are you going to have enough room around the spare fuel cans for a larger tire when you lift it.

Nice build i would just wach how much you do before you lift and bigger tires, i know it will stink later having to modify all your hard work later for bigger tires.

I have 7 inches between the stock tire to the gas cans and I think the max tires I would go is 33's so I think it should be fine.

are you gonna plate on each side of the winch or maybe removable plating for the top if the bumper?

I am thinking about that too but I may have to make some modification. Will see it Monday at the welding shop.

More front bumper pictures. There is little issue today after I tried to remove the front bumper then I realized that I accident welded the diamond plate of the bumper to the plate on the unibody. Bummer, oh well I will fix it on Monday.

I have looked into that before design the hidden winnch and the bumper sticks out 8 inches (not include the shackles mount) so I will test it out after the 1 wheeling trip, if not I will re-design it.

I am planning 4.5" for now since I use this Jeep for hunting also (600+ miles for the trip) so I want something more reliable. I love to fab my own long arm kit and 4 link but for now I just keep reading maybe in the future.
