So I have an update fore everyone. Not a good one though. Pulled the rig apart to change water pumps because when i went wheeling sunday (very lightly) the jeep got a little warm....warmer than it should have. Also was warm on the way home.....like 240 degrees. So i pulled it apart and found this right behind the water pump.
So from what i understand after talking to some people its a hole in the cylinder wall. Now if you remember the motor was a remanned motor from a local engine shop. Some people are saying it might have been slaved but either way the block is f*c*ed. so either way im going to have to get a new motor in there. And sometime real soon

well I feel like i should update even though it isnt about the jeep. Was headed to a buddy's farm to help him swap an 8.8 into his xj and I blew the motor in my little honda. At 280,000 miles i guess it was time. So we got it towed home and before i tore into it I did an oil change and a few minor things to my xj to get it back into daily driver status. So heres some pics of the work done to the honda so far. Hence the reason the jeep is not getting anything upgraded at this point and barely getting wheeled until the honda is driving again.

so its been a little while so here are some of things happening with the jeep. So after being hard on the jeep all summer long it was in need of some new leafs for the rear and some other work that ive been putting off far too long. So i tore the jeep down and have been doing little things to do it (mainly cosmetic so far.) just ordered new leafs from frank at serious offroad who i might add saved me money (again) i ordered more stuff that i didnt need so he gave me a call to let me know and refunded me the money. Now thats customer service from a really awesome guy. Thanks Frank!! so now its waiting on parts and here is a list of things to come before i put the jeep back together
-re do all exhaust (including header)
-change all fluids
-patch all holes in the inner fender wells
-possibly add tubes to the sliders
-patch the new hole is my floor board i had to make to take mt leaf spring out
- going to completely detail the jeep also while i have it in the garage
pictures to come soon!

well i have been neglecting to up date this yet again sorry guys! Lately been doing small stuff and just wheeling when i have time. I Patched all the holes in my fenders and the one in my floor boards. Couple weekends ago went wheeling and broke all the bolts holding gear box to frame and also cracked it a little. So put new gear box on and then plated over the crack. Was planning to build a new bumper to hold my winch and then went wheeling this weekend. A good friend of mine got off camber and his zuk died so i tried pulling him out and ended up shredding the front diff. Blew the spiders, side gears, shims and ruined seals in the axle. Also took a tooth off the ring gear so now i will slowly be rebuilding the front axle again. Anyways here are the pics of the carnage and some of the trail.
