Woo! update time! This weekend my friend and I (he drives the red comanche previously pictured) put on my 1 ton steering from serious offroad. these things are super beefy! Install was simple. Ripped out all the old steering, drilled the knuckles and pitman arm to 7/8 (the drill didnt like this much as it was rolling smoke out of it while drilling) And then finished putting it all on. So far after test driving it these things are a amazing, they steer really nice, dont make a single noise while steering. They are also really easy to adjust. Anyways here is a pic of the steering installed

If you drill with too fast speed on the bit, and it get dull and you keep going, you can actually heat up the knuckle and then weaken it. Just be careful

yea we used plenty of cutting oil and the problem was not the bit or the knuckle those were both fine the problem was the piece of junk drill.

That's great. Were the rpms slow? I have found that best drill to use is milaakuee's hole hawg. Set it in low gear and it goes 300 rpms max, perfect for 7/8 size drill bit. But anyways u got the job completed, good job. Glad u did use the oil.

yea we removed the pitman arm but didnt use a drill press just clamped it in the vice it was much harder than the knuckles haha

been a little while since i updated. Since the last update i did regear the jeep. Went with 4.88 gears and an aussie locker in the rear. Left the front open for now until i decide what i want to do with it (either swap axle or just lock it and see what happens). Not alot other than that. Was changing out a u joint on my axle shaft and ended up with a piece of hammer in my hand that had to be removed so that kind of sucked and was one expensive frickin u joint. Current plans for the future are to first build some sliders. Finally going to get that done.
Also going to hopefuly get a couple spare driveshafts made up and also going to be getting spare axle shafts rebuilt for the front (the ones with the bigger joints in them because i have the small joints in right now). Other than that i have just been wheeling it and having a blast with it. Anyways here are some pics.
Also, i picked up a daily driver not too long ago to help save on gas. Picked up this 1990 honda accord.

Didn't anyone tell you the Radius-arm Long Arm kits can't flex, they bind up and can kill a bunch of nuns and orphans!?!?!

hey everybody! Merry Christmas and happy new year! On new years day we do a hangover run at the local ORV park and we had a HUGE turnout this year so here are some pics!!

This has to be my all time favorite rig around here. He's been to top truck challenge last year and took second place. And even better yet he lives like half a mile from me! I present to you the "Blazabbit"
