Not necessarily in 4wd but about 50% of the time it just makes a little clunk while accelerating or braking. Sometimes turning. But is my tcase supposed to wiggle some if I shake it? Cause I can move my rear drive shaft back and forth with all my strength and it moves the tcase. And sometimes when I do that I hear the clanking. But in the car it sounds like its in the rear.. idk its weird, iv googled it untill I was blue in the face and checked ujoints and all. Is there anyway the ujoints can be broken or worn out and look fine? Thanks guys. I'm going to an off road park Sunday and would really like to figure out what's going on

That's what's weird, I can't swist my drive shaft one bit. Thanks for the reply! Do you know what holds the transfer case from wiggling like that? Cause my crossmember is good but I forgot to check the bolts on the holes of the crossmember. Could that cause it? Or void tranny or flex mounts cause that? Sorry for all the questions, iv googled just about everything and looked under the car for an hour

The tranny actually does not move with the tcase, I thought it did but it doesn't. But my tcase still wiggles some. I'm under my jeep now trying to figure it out. Thanks!

Took a trip to Brazos valley off road ranch this weekend! 3 hour drive both ways for me but it was so worth it! My heep performed way over my expectations and I pushed it to its limits and dnt even break anything! I need to trim my feders cause I was rubbing terribly in a snake run kinda thing. My jeep climbed like a champ and pulled me up whatever I threw at it! Even with 5 people in the car! Haha ill get pics uploaded asap

Haven't updated in a while
I had a terible idle so I replaced adjusted tps, that helped. O2 sensor replaced helped as well. Then it started dying so I replaced cps, I dropped a socket in my bell housing while doing that, boy did that suck to get out.
Replaced distributor, rotor, cap, wires, plugs, pressure tank, tranny mount, and diff fluid

Lots of work done on the xj!
Oil pan gasket

Then the jack folded underneath my axle when I was jacking it up to relocate stands, one of them went through the floor pan

U joints

Wheel bearing

Fire extinguisher

Water pump and thermostat

I assumed my radiator had never been changed so I replaced it, look what I found on the bottom
