It's been good so far. That's 1/4 plate welded all the way around the frame. The bracket makes an L on the unibody. But I also had concerns with it so when I plate the front I'm gonna fish plate from the trackbar bracket to the unibody frame plates

Did they have stiffeners? Or plated on two plains? Cross braced?

I did the same thing. Without plating the unibody you're welding to thin sheet metal. Give it time. It'll break in the worst possible place.

Well sooner than later I'm gonna fish plate it to the stiffeners so it should be fine

Been procrastinating on updating my build lol.
Finished the long arms

Too see full build of the arms go to fab tech and find long arm build.
These things are great, they max out my new 12" travel white body shocks.
Had fun at Arbuckle off road park.
Had to buy a trailer so my brother could pull both our rigs, 36' pj

Arbuckle was awesome! Starting to fold my stock lca axle brackets and ripping off my stock uca tower.
(Should have built a 3 link like atoms told me too lol) but I'll buy a new tower from ruff stuff along with lca brackets.
I got a 231 for the jeep and built it with a new chain and rugged ridge full SYE
4 lo sticks now and is great!

Almost rolled my jeep at Arbuckle. Rear right came 3 ft off the ground and my spotter was able to hold the bitc* from going over.
Chopping and caging coming soon!
I'll be building boat sides for her and they won't be your average 2x6 so look for a thread in fab tech.
Took the snorkel and lights off the top as y'all can see from the pics.
That's all for now

Can't you just take off the passenger side upper arm and run it as a 3-link?

Not the best idea because the stress on the driver upper arm being connected to the lower would be massive. A true 3 link should have the upper completely seperate from the lower arm.

I get so caught up in wheeling I usually forget to take pics lol. I do have a few though to give you a feel for the park.
The brown stuff looks like dirt but it a actually solid granite rock, sticks to tires like sandpaper.

Thanks man! And yeah 35s and lockers turned this jeep into another animal!
unfortunately it won't stay this way for long, I found a rear sterling 10.5 out of a f250 super duty and will be getting a Dana 60 front from one as well and throwing those under it!
I haven't really updated this build but I have boat sides in progress of yall want to check them out in a thread in fabrication.
I'll put some pics up on here though just to keep it updated for yall.

Well the one tons are sitting together waiting to be worked on. I just need time and money for that lol.
But I finished the boatsides. I'm very happy with them. I also tore my lca and uca mounts wheeling so I ordered ruffstuff lover mounts and a Rubicon express upper and braced it with a 1/4" piece of plate to help with torsional load from the radius arms.
I'm waiting until I get a shop to start the tear down and building of the tons. When I do that I'm gonna 3 link the front with hopefully air shocks. I want to link the rear at the same time if money allows.
I'll put more pics up soon
