They look good any experience with those before now?
I've had these same shocks on my Jeep for 4 years now. I just needed longer ones, the bumpstops work well and they feel great on and off road.
Just swapped the shocks actually. I'll have to see how the extra 2 inches of compressed length works, my tires just rubbed when 3 wheeling at RC last time and thinking with the plan of 35s next they should be about perfect. Noticeably longer when extended, shouldn't have any issues now.
What is the exact model #'s you used? I have 33's with 4.5" lift not sure mine would be too far off from what you have. Just thinking later down the road ideas to go with when I upgrade.

The part number of the shocks I got are DT8386. I'll attach the link to their PDF with all the measurements and part numbers with their 8000 series shocks that these are http://www.doetsch-shocks.com/images/8xxx.pdf. Be aware that you'll want SI (stud) for the upper and EB1 for the lower (correct size bushing). I have about 3-4"s of up travel it appears with the bumpstop compressed. I had this same setup when I put the original shocks on with 3"s of lift on 31s and never had an issue, so i'm looking forward to how these work for 3.5" on 33s and then so on 35s. Ride is firm, can feel some of the road more compared to the used ones, but that's fine it'll get worn in over time.

So the bumpstop is on the shock as opposed to the OE location inside the upper coil seat?
So new shocks work amazing. Only rubbed the fender 1/4" of the lip where the flare rested up to a flat. Even though I put retainer clips on they weren't strong enough to hold the coil in place and actually flexed enough to completely drop the coil on a part of a trail. I used the tcase skid a handful of times, passenger door mirror rotted off the spring that held it on the door, and with the gas tank skid off I punched a nice dent into the tank probably taking upwards to 5 gals away from the capacity but no leaks. Overall I am super happy with the way the Jeep ran, no cooling or running issues. The shocks worked amazing, I didn't test the flex on the ramp with the stock retainer clips not holding, i'll have to make some more coverage beefier retainer plates. I'll try to upload some pictures. Ran a good amount of tough blue/blacks and besides the skids working as they should there was no issues or stopping.
