Looks great and doesn't rub anywhere now. Have to take it apart again since I mistakenly put the calipers on the wrong sides so no brakes yet. Once it's driveable I'll put the solid cover on and trim for the 33s.

So update. Been having a driveline vibration since the swap and front lift make-over. Pulled the front driveshaft since it was a couple degrees off but that didn't change anything, rear u joint was toast and I've been needing to replace the transfer case's extension housing and seal from a bad leak so I thought maybe from low fluid? Changed the U joint and extension housing with a new seal today and still vibes with the front driveshaft out. Thinking maybe a the new front suspension has caused a more drastic driveline angle in the rear and that's what's causing it. At this point since i'm not DD it anymore I don't care as much, I know it's old and has problems so I'm not looking to dump a lot of money into it anymore, so I'll deal with the vibes once in a while. But after all that I did what most do, removed the flares and trimmed the fenders. So much more room for activities! The rears were the easy ones, fronts were a bit complicated with wanting to keep the plastic fender liner, but i'm happy with how it came out. Now just need time to mount the 33s.

did you replace hubs when you swapped axles? My hubs caused a nasty vibration when they went bad.

No, one hub does have a hair of play but they are in much better condition than my old ones, i think the original axle had the original 27 year old hubs.

mine didn't have much play but when I spun them I could hear it was bad. I don't know quite how to explain it but I don't think mine had grease in them for a while....

Hubs seem fine, spin easily. Wondering about u joints but not sure if that would cause a vibe when going straight.

Nope, i don't think it will affect it that much and i'm not interested in dumping that kind of money on what is now a side toy. 33s will be mounted tomorrow

Picked up some body molding at advance to clean up the front fenders and undercoating to do the rears.

Very nice, I hope to go up to 33"s in the future. Mine had them when I first bought it but it was unbearable to drive with the 5 spd and 3.07 gearing.
I really like the way our 2-doors look with 33's under them!!! And the clearance is so much better.

Thanks guys, still have to center the axle before I get to drive it more than in town but I should know how they feel on the road soon. Feels good to be up in the air haha and it looks mean too.
