Been a while. Haven't done much, still have some school stuff in the Jeep that needs to be taken out. Today I finally gave it the wash and wax that i've been wanting to do.

Well, it's been a while. Just got the jeep back recently from the dealership. Dropped it off hoping to have some issues including idle and lights fixed. Well it wasn't very fiancially right for them to do everything for me so I had them fix the idle and "lights". They put a new turn signal light in it and today I got to make it work..... Thing came back in rougher shape I feel. Now only one speaker works so tomorrow I'll be poking around to see what they touched behind the kicker panel. So that's where I have been with it, family in law work at the mopar dealership so I didn't pay much for what was done but I'm not happy with the issues from it that I have to fix.

Yea, going to start down the list of them today actually. Already removed the c101 connector.

Ordered new negative/positive cables for the battery as well as a new IAC. Started to go down the list of Cruiser54's tips. Spend an hour on it a day after work and so far good results.

News is that I didn't get into the state police, which is for the better I think. Just this morning I finally had my laptop fixed so the job applications will be starting soon. Everything is starting now it seems haha but hopefully it all turns out good.

Well I messed with the jeep again today. Got all the speakers working, dealership messed with the connector behind the kick panel and removed the hood liner. Have been thinking about removing the liner for a while to address heat and the rust that is under it, going to sand and paint it soon.

Hows the police job search coming? I live in arkansas with a degree in criminology most of the stations around here want already certified officers but here a police station has to sponsor you for you to be able to get into the academy. You cant put yourself through.

Thanks, it's stressful but rewarding all at the same time.

Not interested in the police anymore to be honest. Not a fan of creating conflict, rather help others in the middle of it or help end it and make plans for such people. It's for sure not the easiest career to start in, good luck and hope you find a station to sponsor you.

I wish the rust wasn't a think, not sure how it starts on the hood. Sanded down the rust the best I could, painted rust corrosion paint over the bad spots and started to paint high temp black over the hood to help. I'll finish the paint off when it's not so windy.

Next thing on the list is to replace the battery cables, both are spliced and nasty looking.

Well put the second coat of black under the hood, think it turned out really well in comparison. Replaced the positive battery cable and couldn't get the negative off the block so just taped the torn sections for now. Took it for a drive since having it back and I can't wait to address the d30 pinion bearings but overall it drive great.
Update: Let the engine warm up while driving around and the heat was enough to let the nut off the stud, was able to replace the negative cable as well.
