88 cherokee lerado build in texas
Hello everyone just thought I'd start a build thread while my jeep is bone stock. First off I looked For months apon Month before i found a jeep I liked. I found this one for 400 and it has the all time all wheel drive feature that I won't be using. I plan on doing a rough country 4.5 with 31x10.5 I've already ordered everything to. So just to get this thread started ill post up some pics then tomorrow I'll post up pics of parts. Oh and te reason it was so cheap is because it had a flat cam and the guy was desperate for money. Other then that the jeep is flawless with a new trans and dentless and rustless.

Got the front suspension on. Have to wait for my quick disconnects and my adjustable track bar for another week since they are coming from new York. So just gonna fab a bracket for now. About to tackle the rear suspension after I go get a monster.

Well we thought we were done with the front till we decided to install the front locker and that ended up taking most of the night because we kept running into more and more problems. Anyways the front is about 99% done and all we have to do is make a track bar bracket. We put the rear aal and transfer case drop on also. Tomorrow we are going to tackle the rear locker and the rest of suspension and lights. Can't wait till it's all finished.

Well finished up my jeep and got everything perfect. The rear locker was a pain as well to. Instead of c clamps I had bolt in axles and then the pin the sent with the locker was the wrong size so we ended up using the stock one. Still haven't mounted the lights, but I don't think I'm going to do that till I do my Durango alternator swap. Just waiting on my adjustable track bar and sway bar disconnects. Oh and my comp cam makes an amazing difference on the low end

i can make my own headers, the thing i am worried about is. is this going to be worth my time and money? im not satisfied with the jeep 4.0 motor. its very poor design with low power and not much tq. but when it comes to doing a LS swap i have to change my axles and my transmission and probably do the s10 transfer case. i am just not sure if its something i want to do.
