Default '88 Cherokee Larado

i have a chance to buy this jeep but am not sure what the price should be.
Seller is asking $ 4200. OBO. It appears to be well kept and one owner for past 19 years. Realize many factors affect the price but is the price not a little high?
Thanks in advance, Richard B

Definitely seems high. My one owner 1990 Cherokee Laredo with 116xxx miles was $2500 from a dealer. This seemed liked a good deal for a completely stock one owner Cherokee. Also mine didn't have much rust which is a big deal in NY.

How many miles does this 88 have? What condition is in it? What state has been in?

Jeep has 160,000 miles, has had some engine work done. No rust and to all appearances is in very good shape.
Thank you all for the input, confirms what I thought about the price.
Might make him an offer he will refuse!

Any updates on this? I don't know what they are going for in California, so keep looking around to find a fair price. Sounds like a good XJ, but you don't want to over pay for it.
