Well havn't been able to get as much done as I've wanted to ( **** women and her college classes) any way I've got most of the front disconected just have to get the shocks, track bar, and tie rods diconnected and I can start the front end lift! Then I can move on to the rear lift, which I'm hoping will go alot quicker!

That usually buggers up the threads big time. You can try to run a dye down the threads and fix the if not too bad. You can try to grind off a little of the end. But generally when you do this you will have to replace them. The best way to separate them is by using a pickle fork and replace the dust covers.
PS I am in Chico, not far from you.

I threw away my old tie rod. If I still had it, I would just give it to you. If you want to make the trip, there is a good cheap pick and pull in Oroville, about 80 min drive from you where you can get the whole thing. Or better yet, get the tie rod out of a V8 ZJ and get yourself an upgrade.

Yes, the V8 ZJ tie rod is stronger. The drag link is the same. The 4.0 tie rod is the same as the XJ

alright so have been gone for a while long hours at work and then a 2 week vacation to miami followed by more work! any way will be getting back to the poor neglected jeep this weekend hoping to get my new trackbar, transfer case drop kit, extended brake lines on, and then get my steering hooked back up. This will finish the front of the lift. then i can get to work on the rear lift springs! which will finish the 5.5" lift. Then will have to wait on funds to get the tires 33" TSLs I'm wanting!!!
