Aloha!
Finally a couple pics of the finished flat fenders. This weekend I got around to installing the Brown Dog Motor Mounts and fixed the leaking oil filter adapter. OEM motor mounts were shot.
Now I'm just waiting on the mail man to bring me a set of battery leads and terminals from Kelley's Works in Progress and a shackle relocation kit from H.D. Offroad Engineering.

Battery Leads came in yesterday and installed them today. Its the full kit [RXJ-242-F] from KWip. I've built battery leads before but they never came out as nice as these. Jon was out of the Marine Style Solid Brass Battery Clamps so I had to do with a Zinc set from West Marine. Believe it or not there is a West Marine in Honolulu now
Thanks Jon for the high quality cables and ANL kit!
I'll take some pictures of them installed tomorrow.

Love the MTZ's aggressive tread while staying quite on the highway.
Here are a couple of pictures of the cables and motor mounts installed.

Unfortunatley while climbing in the engine bay to replace the firewall to engine ground cable I broke the accelerator cable and snapped the fuel pump ballast in half.

Went camping this week and looks like I need HD leaf springs.....
Have a set or HD Offroad Engineering Shackle Relocation Brackets ready to install. After that I'm in the search for new leaf springs. I don't really want too much more lift at the moment so maybe an AAL? IDK, I really don't want to go that route. Researching.... What do you all suggest?

Remember what I told you earlier about the Stock Springs of the Cherokee Limited's? ..My dad has the Exact same year and model as you got there.
I confirmed what I said earlier by looking at his.. Its a light duty spring.
If those are still the Stock ones it came with, Just get yourself a set of STOCK Springs from a non limited or a later model Cherokee. They should be real cheep too. The Salvage yard near me sells em for 50 a side.
Look at the ones on your Jeep 1st, take a photo and count the Leif's and compare them to a stock set you may find to purchase, Just to make sure they were not changed out already by a previous owner; After all its been 25 years. That should keep the lift the same.

Here are some before and after shots of how my shackle angle and adjustability has improved.

Using the dirty lift measuring method:
Measure rear ride height with the vehicle unloaded (no luggage or passengers) and with the fuel tank full.
Place the vehicle on a level surface and measure the vertical distance between the top of the axle tube (C)and the underside of the frame sill (D) inboard of the jounce bumper (E).
With Standard or Soft Ride Suspension, vertical distance should be 15 cm (6 inches) plus or minus 13 mm (1/2 inch).
Rusty's 2" Shackle + Shackle Relocation Bracket has netted me 2.5" of lift in the rear so far.

Thanks for the offer. I'll let you know if I can't find some locally.
