when I went to drop the trans mission on my jeep I lowered the cross member and used about two feet of extensions to get a better line on the bolts I used like a 12mm or 13mm 32 star socket cause I didnt have my e sockets and then replaced the two bolts with hex heads when I went to put the transmission back in. this step a lone alows me to pull my transmission in around 30mins give or take 15mins if I have extra hands.
I just pulled my motor out and there was some trouble with those 2 external torx bits on top of the bell housing. I got a universal joint, not a swivel and ran about 4 feet of extensions down the transmission tunnel. I had someone up top guiding me on the two bolts and they came out that way. I was in your shoes with pulling the trans. with the engine but I knew there was a way! Give that a try...

Even more frustrating is that you had them out just a few days ago, so they were easy to remove... once you could get to them.
Now it's time to slap that baby back together.
Go buy a boat, and you can use the block as an anchor.
Got a lot gone to the motor, but it is slow coming have been starting a new job so not much time between learning new software and people...
I got the cam in, timing set on, oil pump on, deleted the oil housing adapter... And a few other things

But I got in a hurry lastnight and forgot to put the damn timing chain guide in the cover so I have to take the alternator and bracket back off and the a/c bracket back off to remove the timing cover and put the chain guide in...
Well stupid mistake easy fix at least I caught it before I started the motor eeeek!!!
