should i go with the 4.5 or the 6.5 rough country long arm lift?

Nice start! I got 2k too and love it. The only thing is LP D30 in the front is a drag. But is is nice to have all the electronic is it to keep it tuned and running.
Oh I have a blue one and I was looking for a green one. Isnt that the way it works.

Nice XJ! If you dont want to cut and still want 33s then 6.5 is the only way to go. 4.5" and you're looking at a 32" tire max

yea thats what im thinking and later on when i want to cut i can run 35s.

im gonna find a hp 30 to build for a locker and cromoly axles for after the lift

with the 6.5 lift i had to do the normal trim job on my fenders. with extended bump stops you will have no problems running 33's and not cutting fenders. word of advice rough country is a nice lift to start with but I've had nothing but trouble with their new flex control arms. I have had to rebuild each once already.

yea that seems to be a common problem, but from what ive heard they usually replace the joints. if mine go bad ill just replace them with higher quality joints

well i have good news. hopefully ill have some updates in a few days. i ordered 33x12.5x15 km2s, 15x8 soft 8s, sye and tomwoods shaft, and will order my 4.5" rough country long arm tomorrow.
ill get pics when the fun starts happening

Im running rustys 3 inch with 2 inch spacers. 4 inch leaf springs in the rear and i run 32's with good trimming/fenders

i had 32s just before i sold my old xj and it had the rc 4.5 and it had flares and rubbed alittle but well see
