I also am putting these up for sale on craigslist. Didn't break a single bracket! I was amazed to say the least.

To remove the gauge cluster:
Put your shifter in neutral
Grab the dash bezel at the bottom and pop it off
Put your shifter in park
Take off the 4 screws it conceals for the upper dash
Climb in the floor board and remove 2-3 screws for the lower dash panel
Pop off the lower panel
Undo the stupid rubber collar for the steering column
Remove the screws holding large metal plate at the bottom of the dash
Remove the plate so you can access the side of the headlight switch
Find the button the side of the switch inside the dash
Push it in while pulling out the plunger for the lights
Tilt your steering wheel all the way down
Pop off the upper dash piece, finagling it around the steering column
Remove the 4 screws around the gauge cluster
Pull the gauge cluster out
The lights turn like 1/4 turn to be removed
Recommendations: Remove the rubber collar for the steering column entirely and enlarge the hole for the headlight plunger slightly so that the upper dash can be removed and reinstalled without disturbing the lower dash. This will save you a lot of time down the road if you ever have to get to the gauges again.

So ill take a better pic of the jeep all trimmed up tomorrow in the sun light. I really like how it came out
Just need to order some plasti dip and put some of that trim I have on my doors on the lip of the front fenders.
Here's me about to tear into my jeep! Lol

Found something interesting while working on my buddies white XJ again. His drivers side floor pan was wet just like mine. This must be a common thing. My old 95 leaked above my head so it was obvious. Here is the thing about my 2000 though. The floor is perfect not a spot of rust. Up by the pedals is always dry to the touch. And the carpet under the door trim seems dry to the touch always too. But I'm having a serious puddle accumulate just where my feet would be. I say somewhere suggesting to put baby powder on the seals and see if it runs.. I'm going to check the firewall too. Just figured I'd mention it if anyone has any tips.

Yeah it's a mystery for now. I had every piece of trim and the headliner out last week when I fixed the wire I shorted and saw no tell tale signs. I have seen a few drips inside midway up the windshield so I'm probably going to take the trim off and put some sica flex in there.

Here's a quick side shot of the jeep. The spring is amazing on the antenna it literally takes all of the stress off the mount. It's deceiving bc when you try to bend it by hand it doesn't move. But with the 3ft firestik it has plenty of sway. Just what I was looking for. I think I'm going to put a tennis ball on it though so it doesn't smack the jeep when off road.

In other news I looked at my door panel sticker and my jeep was made in 99. I think that means I'm safe with the 0331 head. That and the fact that I have the Chrysler rear makes me a happy guy.

Where the heck can a guy find a Jerry can these days???
I looked on ebay and the prices nearly caused a heart attack. I'm looking to mount on up in the roof rack. I got the brackets from a friend in the army but unfortunately he couldn't send the can itself. Lol. Anyone have any ideas?

Check some of the "prepper" websites, also any local army/navy surplus stores. Here in Columbus, Ohio they are plentiful at surplus stores. I'm not sure what you consider heart attack price though lol. I'm currently having a heart attack over the money I'm spending on my firearms hobby with the crazy crap going on trying to finish a couple builds lol.
