Thanks. Yeah those aren't very common wheels and they look great that's why I'd keep them. As for the center caps...I'm not sure maybe a dealer would have more info.

sweet man. its coming along. i actually got to replace the lifters on my 2000 xj since one is collapsed, otherwise we would be driving it to asheville this coming friday to visit my wifes family in the oakley area of asheville. oh well, next time we come ill probably drive it up and maybe we can meet up and get some pix of them on a trail somewhere
i have 265/75/16 on moabs with a 2" lift to give you an idea, they are slightly smaller than 31s. i plan to go with a 4" pieced together setup and 265/75s within the next year though

Let's definitely meet up for a trail run some time.

Great weekend - my good buddy from way-back-when just got discharged from the Army after a long stint in Afghanistan and all kinds of crazy **** over there, so we did it up with some paintball, grilling, drinking and a little bit of trailblazing with the Jeep. I don't have any pictures of that since we were in a bit of a rush, but no concerns from the lift.
However, when I went to start it back up Sunday it fired up kind of hard and a-rhythmic...drove it around for a while, parked it back at home and now won't start at all. I think my starter is giving up the ghost, but gonna to try a couple different things to see about getting it to kick-over. Anyone ever given their solenoid a good whack - any concerns?
My buddy called me from the road on his way back to Fort Bragg to report a pack of XJ's pulling out of the Uwharrie National Park right in front of him...he managed to snap a quick shot, anybody recognize themselves:

Well, the starter on Blackie here is definitely dead...I don't have the time or inclination to get into replacing this thing myself so off to the garage it goes. This will be fun to shell out for right on the heels of the lift!

It's REALLY easy to replace the starter. Two bolts holding it on and then the wires. With your lift you probably won't even have to put it on jack stands. You can probably have the old one off in 15 minutes.

Yeah, garage wanted to charge me something insane like $500-$600 for parts and labor, so my buddy with a lift and a tow helped me out and we're back in business for less than half that. Still a pain in the ***, but first issue i've experienced and the Jeep is knocking on the door of 130,000 miles.

. it came with the D35
, but i did pick up a c8.25 off a 01 cherokee at the junk yard and a durango gear box couple days ago. 4.56 gears from rustys should be here this week. my jeep haven't got any mud on yet cuz im afraid the D35 will break on me. can't wait to install the c8.25 so i can go out and roll in the mud. the first pic is when i had 31" tires and the rest of the pics are 33". now i want 35"

It actually takes a lot of bashing to break a d35. If you're just wanting to do some mud you will be fine. They tend to break more on rocks, especially once the axle starts bouncing around with your foot on the skinny.
