Hey Guys, I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee classic, it has 160,000 miles on it. It will be a slow build but a build nonetheless.

I'll post photos soon.

Quick question: Would this roof rack work with my Jeep? The ad says it is for a VW Squareback.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. May have to get / make some different mounts for it though.

Anything will work, sometimes you just gotta fabricate alittle!

How much fabrication? If you could just give an estimate. I'm a newbie.

if I were you i would remove those. if you aren't interested in removing those you can probably source one at a junkyard but its not gonna be fun having it painted to match.

Depends in how it fits on your jeep.

I just ordered a roof rack - http://www.discountramps.com/roof-cargo-rack.htm

I have to replace the water pump pulley, and right now it squeals when the AC is first turned on.
After the pulley is replaced I plan on making the auto locks work. You can hear the doors trying to lock/unlock but they don't, so right now it is manual lock. If you guys know what the problem is, and how to fix it, please let me know.

Thanks!
