Default 1998 XJ Slow and Steady Build

I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport that I bought here in Germany completely stock. It had saggy leaf springs in the back and the struts were shot all around. It had a leaking head gasket and valve cover gasket. Oil Pump was going out. A hole in the Muffler. Rear Hatch Lift Supports could not hold up the hatch anymore. Drum brakes in the rear were squeaking and the front rotors were rusted and flaking off. The guy i bought it from did not even know the last time the Jeep was tuned up with new spark plugs and wires and distributor assembly.

But i bought it anyways!

Since i bought it i have upgraded all that i listed above plus a new front bumper from OR-Fab (Hogs over here are huge and i did not want to jack up my front end so i went with a steel tube bumper to help push the animal under the car instead of just eat it in the grill) and i have new Wheels and Tires on the way (Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac with 15x8 Black w/Mach Lip Ultra Crushers). Here are the pictures that i have of my Jeep from when i bought it to now. (I will try to put them in order)

Me cutting off the old U-Bolts in the rear to put on the new Leaf Spring Packs

Snapped the old screws holding on the rear struts and i had to drill and thread my own holes since the old screws would not come out.

That is all the pictures i have so far. I have put in a whole new exhaust system front to back with Pacesetter headers and a Flowmaster 44 muffler. With the Flowmaster 44 instead of the stock muffler the tail pipe was about 12" away from the muffler so i had to weld on an extra piece of pipe in between there to get the tail pipe to sit in the stock spot.

With the 3" lift i dropped the transfer case 1" just to keep any vibrations from happening.

Future Buys
Longer Lower Control Arms for the front
Grille Guard Hoop
Fog lights (???Stock or Aftermarket???)
Rear Bumper (???Premade or D.I.Y???)
Tire rack on a swing away arm attached to the bumper
Roof Rack (???Premade or D.I.Y???)
New Paint job
Spray the Whole Under Carriage with a spray on Truck Bed liner
Upgrade the Intake to the 99 intake

That is all so far. When i have the money and time to put on all the new things i will keep yall updated. Any and all feed back is more then welcome.
