1998 Classic 1Ton build 40's
Decided to start a new build thread consider my jeep has started a second life after the 35's so ill let my old build thread be on my old setup and this new thread on mainly the 1ton and 40's. ill try and update it as much as possible just busy at the shop.
Oh and every single thing on this is built by me and parts from ruff stuff
3 link front, 4 link rear
16" king 2.5 coilovers triple rate in the front
18" king 2.5 coilovers triple rate in the rear
Dana 60 up front Yukon hubs
5.38 gears Yukon
Lincoln locked
Rear sterling 10.50
5.38 standard gears
Detroit locker
Steering built by me
Red neck ram hydro assist
Unibody completely boxed and stiffened by 3/16 plate
Custom shocks hoops F/R
Battery and gas tank tucked up into the rear
Hybrid cage still in progress and some other things haha ill try and update
And yes I can still drive it down the freeway at 80mph with no problem, if you have questions for pics ill look through my phone to see if I have it and post it
So what are your thoughts??!?

the more I look at this the more I like the coilover hoops up front with the res's sticking out. I really like the cage work too. just a bit unique. are the rear upper links only held on by those tabs sticking out?? or did you add a cross member later. also how did you afford the fancy 2.5's and lightbar? lol. looks really good it came a long way

did you add any internal triangulation to the cage? also when you get a chance I'd love a cargo shot of the gas tank and rear hoops too. I still need ideas for fitting all that in with a back seat
it all came out really sweet man. if you have any light bars in a 9" I'll be interested in a couple months as part of my new build

I'd love to see more of the hoops in the engine bay and in the rear cargo area; as well as that cage. Love the jeep man. Great work.
