Did you just cut the ends off your stock uppers and weld them to the ends of you new uppers? (the stock ones that my 135 lbs self can bend with my hands)
I have a lot more questions about just that pic, but I will leave some fun to others....
I would HIGHLY suggest rethinking/researching your front suspension......Your life (and others) depends on it.

this was my old mud truck that was priced to gather that i made when i was younger and it was pretty fun till we blew the motor all over the ground at ryc.

ya we ended up going with a 4link set up seamed to be way better than my original plans but i still have to get my mounts made for the coil springs and make a new trace bar.

After you just welded box tube to the lowers to make an upper control arm you lost my respect on the build. Where have you every seen anything available for an XJ that has welded the upper straight to the lower. Nowhere. Why? Because it doesn't work. If you have the left over materials build them out of round tube with at least a 1" diameter with a .125 wall. Also try something called a bushing or Johnny joints. Doesn't have to be adjustable, just has to work. That setup will have all kinds of binding problems.
This is the same set up that was already on my jeep when i got it and it worked great and flexed just fine but this set up is not built for rock crawling or any of that just mud so if all you guys that only hump rocks with your trucks go on another build because this aint the right one for you we built a similar set up on another truck and it worked great. so anybody that wants to talk to me about making this thing for MUD let me know what you think i did wrong and what would be right for MUD i don't want this thing to cost thousands unlike your guys builds but i want it to work also now the only reason i asked for help on this build was because I've never made any four link or steering for these jeeps only put on coils and shocks for my old one thats it so here what I'm building!
when i get off work ill take some more pics but tonight the upper mount is getting cut off for the plating and new mounts that hold the front axle and rear later bars.

Please tell me there's sarcasm in this... I can build a house over night too. I doubt it'll stand long but I can do it! Originally Posted by builtnotbought89'

and as Gorilla pointed out, you have a half asses radius arm set up. You do not have a 4 link.
When you're done I need a bunch of high resolution pictures of the suspension and steering, if you don't mind.
Personally, I want to see less of your janky suspension and more of the chick on the roof of the Janky Jeep.
