I agree, it's not entirely necessary. I run stock brakes and it stops decent enough.. It helps having a 5speed as well though. That being said, the Wj knuckle swap is nice, and does upgrade you to a 2 piston caliper versus the 1 piston that comes stock. It also opens the door for a really nice OTK steering. I have the currie steering on my jeep, it's beefy enough to handle 33's and I would say 35's with ease.
A Zj tie rod would suffice if funds are tight.

One of my buddy's told me that when you hit a bump it messed up your toe and the tires go in, but yeah I ordered a Tie Rod with new rod ends from IRO there's like no ZJ's in the junkyard but a ton of WJs!Originally Posted by cleenrob

Yeah the WJ knuckle swap is what I want to do but I'm running out of money I still have to get a SYE, 4.56 gears, and an extended driveshaft haha hopefully I have some left over to do that conversionOriginally Posted by Blaine

I hear you though, the money starts disappearing once you get a jeep. Realized when I bought a Tj and now this one.. I've been broke for a loooong time

Gets you itching to get it in though doesn't it? I go crazy when I have parts just waiting to go in. Reminds me I need to slap some paint on my front 30 when I get it back. It's looking a bit brownOriginally Posted by cleenrob
