It keeps it about 190 gets all the heat outta the engine compartment. A friend gave me the idea. I'm looking for a hood scoop to make it look a little better.

Ya Its not a road rig only trail so I'm not to worried about the way it looks!
I did the disc brake conversion on the rear when I was building it and came across my axel clips on my work bench this week. HMMM and I went out to the cliffs with out them in! LOL!!! Thanks god the calipers on the rear prevent them fom sliding out! So I guess if I break an axel I can still get back knowing they will stay in with only the brake calipers and their bracket holding them in!!!
Off to the garage again to pull the rear diff cover!
Some of the ravines we were dropping into were insane! 20ft 75% incline!!!

I had to cut half the rockers out they were rusted out any way, then i plated the bottom and welded them to the rockers. ran support plates to the frame rails underneath. i can lift the whole side with a high lift jack. pretty strong

If you have a xj its allot easier you dont have to cut the rockers out, the frame is not higher then the rockers if I rem. You can just run supports and welsd to the frame and bolt the top of them them to the pinch seam.

yup, was just going to weld to the top of the rockers, and make some supports to weld to the bottom of the rails to the side of the frame. should hold up pretty good.
