So back in January 2012 I picked up a 2 door XJ with relatively low miles. It was a 5 speed 4.0 Bare bones stock. Unfortunately I wasn't able to look at it very thoroughly underneath, when I finally did I found that rust had eaten up almost all of it underneath.

Then I called up a buddy who was driving around a 93 four door also stock and a little beat honestly but body and components were in decent shape so I spent the 250 he was charging me and lugged it down my place where it was have surgery. I took the 4.0 and ax 15 out of the green Jeep and put it in the tan one.

After finally getting it all put together with not too many extra parts
I had a buddy give me his 31 M/Ts to put on it. I had to cut the fender wells to make them fit and not rub...got a bunch of funny looks from the guys at the tire shop. Then picked up a clutch bumper and hella lights for cheap and wired them up.

Kept on craigslist and CF looking for a lift to put on her and finally found one on here courtesy of SteveMongr so I drove out there to pick it up and started on the transformation.

Paint was a little rough and I didn't see the point in spending a bunch of money to have it painted just to get beat on the trails. So I cleaned her up and let truckbed liner do the work.
