Default 1991 Jeep Comanche

So after selling project Northwoods this past weekend

So I sold my jeep this past weekend because I have been wanting to build something different. I really wanted to build an MJ. Well after looking and looking near me, everything was rotted out crap. Drove to Racine this morning for a complete dive that the guy pretty much lied about the whole thing, thinking I might be some idiot.

Anyway, I ended up picking up a 1991 Jeep Comanche Eliminator.

Shortbed, 4.O, 118k, 2wd, shortbed roll bar, factory bed mat, original interior and clean:

Within the nearest future I plan on converting to 4wd obviously. Paint.

Then the real build will start to happen.

Wow a 91 eliminator with a factory roll bar and 118k on the clock. Thats pretty much the truck to have. Your a coward if you dont leave it pink though.

Thanks guys. 1992 would have been even that much more awesome. Its going to be sweet.

The build will be slower then my XJ was though because I have to figure out exactly how I want to build it. As far as the pink, a lot of people told me I should, but its kinda hard to nickname it Northwoods V 2.0 or something when its pink haha.

Thinking:

4wd conversion, bilsteins, Delta headlights, winch, front and rear bumper, Solid diff. covers, MJ d44, paint, and?

I got my 92 MJ as a 2x4, now ive done the 4x4 swap, 8.8 out back and a ton of other stuff. I love mine and im sure you will too. You will love wheeling that longer wheelbase, real stable and climbs like a sob!

I would go 8.8 way before a MJ d44. I almost got a MJ 44, and the 8.8 blows the 44 out of the water for strength

This one will be built more for camping/kayaking. I am soon to be on the look out for a rusty MJ to build for wheeling.
