Im new to the forums and just wanted to drop in and start my build thread..which may be long. Im putting this together slowly lol.

I just finished with my YJ build and always wanted a cherokee.

Well I found this one for roughly $350.00 in trades. So I think I did pretty good on it.



Everything works on it. Has a few dents here and there and the rear right panel is beat up pretty good. Looks like it landed on a very hard surface but that can be fixed at a later date. The interior was in pretty good shape. Just need a good cleaning and will be ok.

Right now im working on the paint. Some one had spray painted part of it white with rattle can and did a pretty poor job. I will be changing the color to midnight blue.

I finished the prep work pretty much and the whole thing is pirmered now.



Looking to go with a 4.5 lift for now, AT tires, not sure on rims yet mostly watching craigs list and what not for some deals. Eventually there will be new bumpers front and rear, roof rack, over head lights, and some other things I havent made my mind up on as of yet.

Still needs to be wet sanded down. Work in progress you might say. Any tips, tricks, or suggestion is always appreciated.
