Default 1989 Cherokee Pioneer AKA project WTHDIGMSIT

Welcome and thanks for checking out my build thread..things are going to be real slow going on this thing but i will keep my thread updated as much as possible. I have a 1989 jeep cherokee pioneer it has a D30 up front and a D35 out back(which is going to have to change to at least an 8.25. right now the head is pulled off the jeep and i am in the process of coming up with money so i can buy new lifters and push rods at a minimum and a radiator since some dip s*** decided to jb weld a metal tube to the inside of the upper radiator fitting...GRRRR. I can't complain too much though because the body on the jeep is pretty straight and i have yet to find rust and i only paid $450 for it. anyways enough babble for now on with some pics.

does anyone know how to get this line off the radiator???------v

cb placement..i have to move it i kinda didn't take into account the lower portion of the dash cause it is off...gotta move it about two inches i would say.

changed the steering column and accidently mounted the wheel upside down..but its not staying on there so its ok.

interior is dirty as hell but mint

this a dana 35 right???

if you look in the end of the fitting, where the rubber hose meets the tube, you will see some little tabs under that collar. they need to be pushed outwards from the tube. there is a tool for it, or you can use a few small screwdrivers.

Project "what the hell did I get myself into" I like that haha. Those nylon tabs on the tranny line need to be pressed together. You can do it with your hands.

I can see the tabs in the pic you posted of the line. Those 2 little tabs that stick out of the hose fitting in the pic.
