so i decided to move the jeep out of the garage and as i was cleaning my garage today since i move in like five days i happened upon some gasket material from the throttle body of my maxima..well it was a cut out template for when it had to come off again, it just so happened to fit over my intake manifold and cover for the throttle body perfect...so now the throttle body is on and all connectors hooked up to include throttle cables. AND as i was sweeping i found my missing injector seal..was a little dirty my still looked good so i cleaned it up and put it back on. so now the fuel rail is in place...so pretty much all i have left is radiator hoses/fluid, oil change(again), put valve cover back on and drop the tank. BUT like i said moving in five days so probably gonna have to wait on everything else till i get to the new house even though it would make it a hundred times easier to drive the jeep onto a trailer..or to the house ..lol...but wifey says its gotta wait so its gotta wait.

At least my mom drives a suburban that I will be taking to school tomorrow. Ughh, I have no idea how I am going to park that thing in the college's parking spots barely wide enough for a motorcycle.

just a quick update got all the parts i need to finish the jeep in today so it should be running this weekend..also zwhiz hook me up with an add from a guy that hooked me up with a bunch of FREE stuff, i got a Steel gas tank skid, trimmed fenders, a complete front grille, and all the hoses and wierd valve thingy to finish my open cooling system conversion..when and if i can come up with the money probably buying a 3" lift off him too, or his 4.0 HO with harness and all if mine doesn't work out as planned.

got the jeep running today i was so physced just to know it will start..no fuel pump problem didn't even drop the tank it was my injectors, which got replaced with dodge neon injectors today.

Minor problems to correct:
New injector seals..spewed gas all over my nicely painted intake mani
Tighten the exhaust mani where the mani meets the exhaust
Make sure that my thermostat housing isn't leaking anymore, was slightly dripping
figure out if my tranny cooler line is actually leaking or if it was residual from installing the radiator(That what i am hoping for)...totally just had a you dumb ***** moment as i was typing that..my seal for the hose is sitting next to the steering box..and the line that was on the radiator kept the other seal...wow i am retarded..that will be fixed tomorrow..lol will post up pics and maybe a short video of it running once i get the new lifters broken in.

vid is going to be another day, my buddy at work has an over abundance of brand new injector seals he is going to give me so i am waiting till tomorrow so i don't have to spend anymore money. Spent alot yesterday and the wifey is on vacation so i don't have much to spend for 10 days. ANYONE In the new mexico area want to donate a BB lift kit??? lol

thanks for lookin hopefully if i get my seals tomorrow i will be able to fire it up and break in the lifters. Fixed the tranny cooler line.

Thanks thought i had the fuel leak fixed tonight...i was trying to see if my stereo was working, and forgot that my rail was pulled off so i pissed fuel all over the ground..so i was like well i will just temp install them for the time being but couldn't get a couple to slide into the rail so i got out the vasoline like a couple friends told me to and pushed them all into the rail then the intake..to my surprise the cut out on the injector and lip on the rail all of a sudden matched up and the clips could actually do there job. I was way excited so i put them back into the intake and turned the key...no leak..YET. So we finished the stereo install and found out the speakers in the jeep don't sound too bad which was surprising and then we were like well crap if it isn't leakin fuel lets tighten up the exhuast and fire it up and break in the lifters so we tightened that up and i decided i wanted to see how a CD sounded in the jeep...well i started to smell fuel and sure as S*** number one and number three injectors were leaking AGAIN!!! so didn't get to start it, but all i should have to do tomorrow is put new seals on the injectors and check for leaks then fire her up.

don't ya hate that false hope crap you think its gonna work then pow like kissing a freight train nothing but pain but at least you only have two seals to replace and you got tunes that sound decent mine sounds good as long as im not driving it lol the mtx 33's howl like crazy at highway speeds and not having the sound barrier or carpet in it it tends to resonate through the cabin but what can i say if i hadn't gone in that 4' deep hole filled with water i wouldn't have had to remove the carpet but then i wouldn't have gotten to laugh like a hyena at my wife as her butt got soaking wet when the cab flooded on her side:lol::lol::lol:

lol thats funny. i am more into crawling then mud i don't like cleaning up afterwards, although thats why i bought a pressure washer..when i had my toyota we were out crawling around in the mountains and we had the windows down well she was sticking her head out to take pictures and i said "branch"..she said yeah i see them and got smacked right sqare in the cheek..needless to say she either keeps her window halfway up now or keeps her head in..the things that happen to our wifes when we are wheelin. I don't know about you but my wife pays me back when i let her drive..she is balls to wall in the throttle we were out at the local mud pit and i swear i saw the front end of my toy bounce like 3 feet off the ground as she was going into the pit..takes all the laughing at her i do out on the truck...cause she knows i have to fix it, but she does help.

i guess im lucky then cause my wife wont wheel. just wants to ride along and make fun of me. when i say i can make it through and then get hung up on something and have to be pulled out or off. the down side is i don't here the end of it for a long while. then she tends to remind me. every time we go wheeling about the last time and what ever might have happened.

Well i have bad news, the jeep is done the block is cracked should have pulled the dang motor and inspected everything...SO if anyone is looking for a four door donor body hit me up, i am selling it for about 500 obo yeah i know i only paid 450 for it but i got a steal on it the body has no rust at all that i have found and is real straight, plus it is converted to open cooling now which will stay if the price is right.

don't worry not straying from jeeps, probably buying an 86 with a 4 inch lift and 31's for a grand
